City Directories are a tool to fill in gaps between censuses and learn more about ancestors. But if you’re just searching for a name, you’re missing out. In this presentation see sources to find directories, what to look for in them, understanding the “anatomy” of a directory and tips for getting the most out of them using address searches, alternate spellings, advertisements and more.
