Today, for us, a sign of a cold or sniffle is a simple matter of a run to the drugstore. For our ancestors, it could be the precursor to death – for them and their family members. Learn about some of the history of medicine, curatives, and health disasters, as well as a reason you may never know from what or where your ancestor died.
