The Draper Manuscripts: Clues for the Ride West
L. C. Draper spent much of the 19th Century collecting narratives and ephemera from Revolutionary-era soldiers and their descendants, as well as those who encountered native Americans in the trans-Appalachian west. Housed at the State Historical Society of Wisconsin, these materials can give researchers a boost in breaking through brick walls in that region.
