What does it really mean when your results show Jewish DNA, such as Ashkenazi, Sephardi or something else? How can we trace our families to that point if this is a surprise? What is it about endogamy (and not just Ashkenazi)? How can a knowledge of historical events and migration patterns help us understand who we are and who our ancestors were?

Level:
Beginner. Just starting to do family history., Intermediate. Online database savvy and can locate/read deeds, vital records, wills, and church records., Advanced. Very experienced, including early US and foreign records.
