Writing Compelling Family Stories
Everyone loves a good story. Being able to share stories that people love to hear will make them more likely to be passed on to the next generation. Learn the basics of storytelling and how to identify the format of our family stories. Using principles of crafting good fiction, the student will learn to expand on the information they have to develop a descriptive story that engages the reader.
Beginner. Just starting to do family history., Intermediate. Online database savvy and can locate/read deeds, vital records, wills, and church records., Advanced. Very experienced, including early US and foreign records.
