How Dare You Say That? When You Discover Bad News about Your Family
Sometimes your research turns up unpleasant truths. You are pretty sure that your family is not going to like the latest news (your family owned slaves, there was no Cherokee princess, Grandma got away with the murder of Grandpa). You are tempted to hide the story. This seminar offers some hints for how to compassionately present information that might be unpleasant or unpalatable to your family.
Intermediate. Online database savvy and can locate/read deeds, vital records, wills, and church records., Advanced. Very experienced, including early US and foreign records.
